Pressing Instructions (Clear Film Full Color Screen Print Transfers)
Transfers MUST be applied using a heat press.
These CANNOT be applied using an iron or an easy press. Transfers require a lot of pressure that only a heat press can produce. Initially, it may appear that the transfers have adhered to the garment (using an iron or easy press), but the transfers will not hold up (especially when washing).
Pre-Press Garment for 5 seconds to remove any moisture
Heat Press Temp: 350° F
Pressure: Heavy
Time: 15-20 Seconds
Peel: Hot
Applied to: 100% cotton, 100% polyester, and cotton/ polyester blends
Although it may not be needed for your press, as a precaution, we recommend rubbing the transfer with a dry cloth immediately after pressing and BEFORE peeling. Start in the corner, and especially over delicate areas. If the film is not releasing clean off the transfer, stop peeling, repress, rub and peel again. Most times, this is a pressure issue. Increase the pressure on your press, and the press time if needed.
Once pressed, if you want to give your garment a re-press, cover the transfer with parchment paper or a teflon sheet (to protect your heat press platen).
